Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) recently announced the launch of a new advertising product called Creator Connect, designed to connect brands with creators using artificial intelligence and further expand ad revenue. According to industry media reports, the product was developed by the X platform, which is controlled by Elon Musk's SpaceX, leveraging xAI technology to intelligently match brands with suitable creators based on audience characteristics, content trends, and marketing objectives, improving campaign efficiency. Creator Connect not only identifies top-tier creators but also discovers "similar creators" and niche voices in verticals that brands typically overlook.
This product launch marks a major step for X in the creator economy space. Unlike traditional models that focus only on top creators, Creator Connect emphasizes creating brand collaboration opportunities for mid-tier and emerging creators, helping them overcome traffic barriers. Brands, in turn, can gain more precise influencer recommendations through the tool, reducing trial-and-error costs.
